BASF Completes Sale of Pigments Business to DIC

Acquisition broadens Sun Chemical’s portfolio as a global manufacturer of cosmetic pigments.

BASF has completed the sale of its global pigments business to DIC. The purchase price was €1.15 billion ($1.36 billion at current exchange rates). The move was originally announced in 2019.
